Narrative
Emotional Tunnel consists of eleven paintings that revisit the same fountain through shifting chromatic atmospheres and perceptual states. Rather than documenting a fixed place, the series follows the continuity of a familiar site as individual experience evolves through time. The fountain remains constant while each encounter reveals a different emotional landscape, shaped by lived experience, self-discovery, and the changing ways in which we perceive the world. Each painting presents the same motif through a distinct psychological lens, suggesting that memory is not erased but continually deepened, carrying the accumulated traces of emotion, experience, and personal growth.
Curatorial note
While the architectural form remains recognizable, each variation introduces a distinct emotional atmosphere, allowing perception to move fluidly between chromatic intensity and reflection.
