The thematic core of innocence, belief, and hidden depth is established through sketches, written notes, and the first material studies that anchor the exhibition world.

Impact in Action
This collection is grounded in contemporary painting while drawing upon historical dialogue, material exploration, and experimental technique. The themes developed throughout this assembly are reverberation, chromatic resonance, curated barbarity, spirituality, and innovation in historical context.
The most important element is the title of the collection, Innocenza di Aix. This is my first collection and first major solo exhibition, an idea that began during my first year at university. It gathers the themes I explored while living in Aix-en-Provence, a city of remarkable calm, beauty, and youthful academic life.
Innocenza di Aix embodies a deliberate duality: the serene elegance and aesthetic refinement of the city, alongside the darker realities that existed beneath its surface. Among these were experiences I observed directly: abuse moving openly through public spaces, silent racism toward my friends, and the relentless labour students endured in pursuit of a better future. The contrast between innocence and concealed struggle forms the emotional and social tension that informs these paintings.
Beyond social observation, the works investigate reverberation: the persistence of emotion long after the moment itself has passed. Memory, intimacy, and shared experience are treated not as narratives but as echoes that continue to inhabit the present.
Chromatic resonance is approached not as symbolism, but as perception. Colour is intended to be experienced before it is interpreted, allowing its relationships, intensity, and rhythm to shape the viewer's emotional response without prescribing a fixed meaning. Together, these works propose that beauty is not an escape from reality, but a way of perceiving its complexity.
