Carrefour Fish
Oil
Rows of packaged fish, red price stickers, and supermarket labels become a cool, gridded still life where retail order and painterly repetition press against each other.
Curatorial note
The work extends the food paintings into a sharper register of display. What could be inventory becomes pattern, and the repeated label turns commerce into a visual rhythm.
Installation note
Hang it with enough distance for the grid to read first, then let viewers approach the painted labels. It pairs naturally with Dorade Royale while feeling more systemic and cool.
