Rooster Platter no. 2
Oil
Lime borders, olive scrollwork, and scattered branches give the second platter a brighter, airier rhythm around the central bird.
Curatorial note
Where the first platter is compact, this one breathes. The branches act as counterweights, keeping the circular field animated without letting it dissolve into motif.
Installation note
It benefits from being near its companion without feeling redundant. A short interval between the two platters lets their different temperatures register.
