Curatorial note
Stillness carries the tension here. The soft brown body anchors the clearing while the birds animate the air around it, giving the scene a quiet omen-like charge.
Installation note
Use it as the first Stalking work. Its low central figure creates a grounded threshold before the sequence moves into pursuit, flight, and procession.
