Pale stone, silvery sky, and a saffron burst behind the statue stage the fountain as both civic monument and private apparition.
Curatorial note
The sunburst reorganizes the whole image. By placing a devotional flare behind the sculpture, the painting lets public architecture behave like an interior vision.
Installation note
Hang it where warm light can catch the yellow accents without flattening the cooler masonry. It works beautifully as the opening to the expanded fountain sequence.
